Since 27 January 2026, customers of Boursorama, Caisse d’Épargne, Banque Populaire, and Crédit Coopératif reported duplicate transactions, unexpected debits, and other transaction errors on their accounts. The problem was traced to an IT processing error at a payment-processing provider, not a cyberattack. Banks said they were correcting the duplicated entries.
