Wells Fargo Settles Lawsuit Against JPMorgan Over $481 Million Loan Wells Fargo has agreed to a proposed settlement to reduce its lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase & Co. regarding a $481 million mortgage loan deal. The suit, filed in New York federal court, accused JPMorgan and others, including developer Meyer Chetrit, of being responsible for significant financial losses stemming from the loan. The agreement aims to dismiss most of Wells Fargo's nine-count suit.
