JP Morgan Banker Countersues Colleague for Defamation in $1M Case JP Morgan banker Lorna Hajdini has countersued her former colleague Chirayu Rana, accusing him of fabricating sexual assault allegations to damage her reputation and extract money from her and JPMorgan. Hajdini claims Rana's false accusations have led to harassment and ridicule. She is seeking unspecified damages for defamation and emotional distress. Rana, who sued in April using a pseudonym, alleged Hajdini coerced him into non-consensual sexual activity and used racial threats. JPMorgan, also a defendant in Rana's lawsuit, supports Hajdini, denying the allegations' merit. The bank reportedly offered Rana a $1 million settlement before he sued.
