Sweden's Digital ID Provider CGI Confirms Data Breach Incident Sweden's digital ID provider, CGI, confirmed a data breach involving two internal test servers, potentially exposing source code and credentials related to the country's digital ID system. The breach, claimed by hackers ByteToBreach, allegedly affects systems used by the Swedish Tax Agency for BankID logins, a service crucial for millions of Swedes accessing government services. Although CGI stated the breach involved non-production systems, concerns remain about the safety of Swedish citizens' data. Previously, BankID faced a DDoS attack affecting 8.6 million users. The breach data appeared on the Breached forum, now taken down.
