United Bank Corp. Settles ESOP Lawsuit for $2 Million United Bank Corp. has agreed to pay $2 million to settle a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged that the bank removed former employees from its employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and excluded them from receiving proceeds from a $23.3 million dividend. The settlement was filed in a Georgia federal court.
